knife, stick, khaki slacks
B&W soccer ball that refugees in Thailand would’ve used in ’82 (not so easy to find)
mud (& blow dryer so I can turn it into dirt-it’s been rainy here)
baby powder (to mix with dirt for special effect)
boots (that are brown but are about to get spray painted black)
pond (we’ll shoot tight so it looks like the Mekong River)
skinny Laotian boy (thanks, nephew!)
neck & ponytail of Laotian girl (thanks, niece!)

Lights-Camera-Action! (actually the shoot’s outside so there’re no lights)

Awesome. I have the script written and was planning to shoot last week but got rained out. It might be the first ever 30-second trailer–at least I haven’t seen any that short. I’m a writer/producer at a TV station and am used to producing 30-second spots! Will try again this week and hope to get it edited by the end of June.

    Thanks for visiting!
